François PerronRecorders, ney, kaval, shawm and voice
With a musical background striated with ancient music, punctuated with contemporary improvisations, splashed with folklore, crossbred by classical music, sautéed in world music and enhanced with songwriting, François has a passion for music that happily finds it's place in the music of Skarazula. After graduating from the University of Montreal with a bachelor's degree in flute, he gradually learned all kinds of instruments, but within the group, he specializes in particular winds like the Irish flute, the ney, the kaval and the shawm.
